Joseph Cermatori is Associate Professor of 英语. His teaching and research focus on drama, performance, aesthetic theory, and the intersections of literature and philosophy. He is the author of Baroque Modernity: An Aesthetics of Theater (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2021) and is currently preparing an authorized anthology of Thronton Wilder's Collected Nonfiction Writings. He has published widely, with recent work in scholarly journals like PMLA and in news media like The New York Times. Joseph has served as director of the 荣誉论坛 since 2024.
